this is the rematch no one wanted, and the rematch everyone gets.

priam steps into the area of battle, fixing his sygna suit up as he prepares another fight to pay his debt from commissioning the said suit.

"well, well, well, if it ain't mister lavinge," he greets. "i hope you're happy with facing me again."

the espeon wasn't after barely scraping by from the last match.

as priam's energy rises once again, he points espeon to the direction of the field, ready for the match to start once again.

"you know the drill!"

the iconic attack made out of coins makes its way again on the field, peppering the talonflame with the espeon's pay day.

There was a long, searching look before Seb deflated with a sigh.[break][break]

the same opener happened, and it'll only be up to their opponent to switch it up if they want to.

priam, of course, stays the course. there is only one objective here, and it's to pay off his sygna suit debt with every way he can. rocket stuff was getting too complicated for him at the moment, at least.

"do the money attack!"

as winds start blowing to their direction again, the espeon keeps its mind on doing one thing, which is to spray coins on the talonflame throughout the match.

Since he knew what was coming, that made just flying up a little bit to get out of scatter range a little easier, at least...[break][break]

Fluffing himself up, Alpha tried to swoop in with a Quick Attack before darting back up into the air and out of range again.[break][break]

he shows off his sygna suit with a smug look on his face. two thumbs point back to himself, showcasing the clothes he has on.

"kinda worth though, don't you think?"

for the espeon, it wasn't, especially if it's forced to throw coins at the talonflame charging at him and throwing him off to the side for a pay day.

Humming, Seb's eyes followed the motion to really take in the clothes....[break][break]

"I dunno, it looks kind of like a weird cosplay." Seb shook his head, not seeing the appeal. But, Sygna Suits weren't really very far spread outside of Hoenn itself, so he didn't really understand what he was looking at. "Is it some Hoenn Fashion Brand? 'Sygna'...?"[break][break]

Alpha did his best to rise above the coins again, but this Espeon was pretty fast! Still, he tried to come in again with a fancy little Acrobatic trick.

the strat doesn't work this time. especially since espeon was only using predictable moves the entirety of those two fights.

"well, whatever the case, i still need cash. thanks for the rematch, by the way!"

it doesn't sound as friendly when priam is crouched down, collecting coins on the ground beside the beaten up espeon right next to him.
